Fortnite Mini-Puft Locations Map: How to Exterminate Mini-Pufts in Sludgy Swamp, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row

Recommended Videos

Fortnitemares has returned in Fortnite, and one of the quests this year requires players to exterminate Mini-Pufts with a pickaxe in Sludgy Swamp, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row. This challenge is a part of a collaboration with Ghostbusters Afterlife. To start it, you first have to speak to the Ghostbusters Containment Specialist and place Seismographs in Misty Meadows and Catty Corner. After finishing that quest, you can move right onto this one. Here’s where to destroy Mini-Pufts with a pickaxe in Fortnite.

Sludgy Swamp Mini-Puft Locations

The Mini-Pufts in Sludgy Swamp are located in the small red brick building to the south of the large central building. Inside, they can be found experimenting with the Slurp Juice containers and messing around behind the counter. There are 5 Mini-Pufts in Sludgy Swamp, but you only need to exterminate 3 of them to complete this quest.

Lazy Lake Mini-Puft Locations

The Mini-Pufts in Lazy Lake are located by the pool in the southeastern part of town. They can be found messing around with the grill and hiding in the sinks near the grilling area. Just like Sludgy Swamp, there are 5 Mini-Pufts here waiting to be exterminated.

Retail Row Mini-Puft Locations

The Mini-Pufts in Retail Row are located in the bookstore on the eastern edge of the area. Most of them can be found on or around the counter, while one of them is hiding in the top part of a nearby bookshelf. Just like the other areas, there are 5 Mini-Pufts here for you to find.

How to Destroy Mini-Pufts With a Pickaxe in Fortnite

Mini-Pufts are small versions of the iconic Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from the original Ghostbusters film. They can be found in Sludgy Swamp, Lazy Lake, and Retail Row. They seem to be getting up to mischief in all 3 areas, so you can typically find them all clumped together in an area where they shouldn’t be.

To complete this quest, all you have to do is hit enough of them with your pickaxe. You only need to exterminate 3 of them to complete the mission, and there are 5 in each location.

There are a few more Ghostbusters quests left to complete during the Fortnitemares event, and your next task after dealing with the Mini-Pufts is to retrieve mechanical parts by destroying cars. This step is fairly self-explanatory, and you should be able to complete it in the same match after exterminating the Mini-Pufts.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
