Coming hot off of the heels of the latest Star Wars announcement, it seems that Fortnite is bringing the old-school cool with its newest collaboration. To help celebrate the 42nd Birthday of Pac-Man, there appears to be an imminent crossover happening in the battle royale!
But, will we see Pac-Man himself cranking 90’s, or what should we expect when this crossover happens? Let’s dive into all of the details that are currently available in regards to this unique crossover!
Pac-Man in Fornite: When Will These Items Be Available
Fans were first tipped off of something happening between the two gaming giants after Bandai-Namco posted a tweet wishing Pac-Man a happy 42nd birthday, and the official Fortnite account decided to jump in on the celebration.

Speculation started raising quickly, with fans and leakers both excited to see what may be on the horizon for the game and if there was bound to be any sort of actual cross-over event happening between the two of them. However, speculation quickly turned to confirmation, when the collaboration was officially confirmed and is going to be released to the world on June 2nd.
However, what will come along with this crossover? Are we going to see our favorite yellow mascot in the game? It seems unlikely and seems to be more along the line of the recent Wu-Tang collaboration that happened, with skins and items bearing their likeness being released on the shop, rather than the actual characters themselves.

According to the Japanese PAC-MAN website, we most likely won't get PAC-MAN himself in Fortnite, but normal characters with clothes based on his design.
The website only says that there will be items with "PAC-MAN motifs" 🤔
Anything else would have been unlikely anyway.

Having items in Fortnite to represent one of the most classic video-game characters of all time isn’t a bad thing, however. Since Pac-Man has such a unique stature, it’s hard to know how they would exactly bring him to the game, but being able to represent your love for the character is a great option, as well!
It is currently unknown what items will be coming, and the prices for these cosmetics, but we can assume following previous collaborations, there may be at least a few skins available, with different Back Blings, Harvesting Tools, and more coming along for the ride. The Wu-Wear Bundle debuted for 1,600 V-Bucks, so it’s safe to assume that you’ll be looking at about the same price to get your hands on the Pac-Man cosmetics.
