Halo Infinite’s second Technical Preview is finally here, allowing more players than ever to test out the latest game in the long-running Halo series! Previously, 343 Industries initially held a technical preview at the tail end of July, allowing players to dive in and test Halo Infinite for the very first time. This time, the test will be held this weekend and next, so players should absolutely be able to enjoy what Infinite has to offer if they were invited to flight. Here is exactly how you can play.
Check to See if You Are Invited
First off, not everyone will be a part of this test. In order to participate, players will have to have previously registered and signed up with Halo Insider. If you were selected, you would have received an email in the past two days. If you did not receive one, check your Halo Insider profile just in case they missed you, as sometimes it only shows on your private messages there.
If you were not selected, no worries! 343 stated that they will be picking more participants starting next weekend, so stay tuned to see if you are selected!
Wait for the Code
If you were selected and received an email or private message, congratulations! 343 will supply all users participating in the preview a product key for either Xbox or Steam (depending on their platform specified), and users will input that to download the client hosting the Flight. These are usually sent out right before the actual flight begins.
Download and Play!
Once you receive your code, input it and download the Halo Insider client! Launch the game and link your Xbox account, and you are set to experience the Technical Preview! The build will only be available for times specified by 343 Industries, so be sure to pay attention to their social pages for more information surrounding that.
