Recommended Videos

Diablo Immortal has arrived in the online storefronts and fans have been delving into everything the game has to offer them. Of course, with the range of classes that you can select from when you boot up the game; you will be greeted with a lot of excellent choices to make for the game. As for some other choices, these can be hidden away in the settings menu and one of which is the ability to disable the chat box if it’s getting on your nerves. This guide article will take you through everything you need to know about how to disable the chat box for Diablo Immortal.

Disabling the Chat Box for Diablo Immortal

In order to disable the chat box, you will have to navigate to the settings. In order to do this, press on the three lines at the top right of the screen and then press the cog icon on the screen which will take you into the settings menu. Now from here, you can go to the ‘Chat’ section. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to disable the chat box fully but you can have it so that it is not as frequent in appearing on the screen.

At the section where it mentions ‘Channels in Chat Preview’, untick all of the boxes that are currently ticked, and when you go back into the game you will notice the chat box minimizes, and now your screen can be seen a lot clearer. Further, the only time the chat box will now pop up by itself is if someone messages you directly but at the moment this is the most effective way of disabling the chat box for Diablo Immortal.

If you are playing with others you may want to keep some of the chat boxes ticked such as the ‘party’ chat although this is completely up to you for what you decide!

Diablo Immortal is available now for IOS, Android, and is in a PC open beta.
