Call of Duty: Vanguard once again brings back a feature that originally started in Modern Warfare in 2019. Watches were a cool way to accessorize just beyond using different weapon wraps and callsigns. As Vanguard just launched, people are going to want to deck their players out to show off to the many others out there. Here is how to unlock watches in Vanguard.

How to unlock watches in Call of Duty: Vanguard

We are currently in the preseason for Vanguard, so watches aren’t as plentiful as they were in the past two games. However, there are currently four watches you can earn in-game. These are the watches currently in-game and where they are acquired:

  • Pronto MK.1 – Unlocked from the start
  • Nautilus Tempo – Unlocked from the start
  • Passed Down – Call of Duty Endowment Timeless Pack
  • Clocked In – Warzone / Cold War Season Six Battle Pass Tier 98

Hopefully, by the time the game is no longer in the preseason, there will be more watches to accessorize our Operators with. It’s a neat touch, to say the least. It would be unfortunate if you can’t acquire any wristwatches other than by using actual money to acquire them.

How to equip watches

To wear watches in the game, head on over to the Multiplayer mode. Click on the Weapons tab and the option is called Watch. There, you can equip a watch if you have any. Unlike other Call of Duty games, at least at the moment, these watches do not have some kind of secondary function other than telling the player the current time based on the system time. They will also come with a variety of gestures to show them off in-game.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is out now for the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series S/X, and PC via Battle.net. To check out additional content regarding the game, click here.
