Wind Holes Explained in God of War Ragnarok

Like in the first God of War (2018), in God of War Ragnarok, there are a few things you will stumble upon that you can’t use yet. These wind holes are one of those things.

If you’re wondering what these wind holes are, don’t worry because you will be taught what they are and how to use them later in the game’s story. You won’t miss how to use the wind hole since it is part of the main Path.

Now, you’re probably wondering, what item or power do you need to use the wind holes? You don’t need to reach the max level or anything crazy to get it.

To tell you that now would be to spoil some of the game. The best we can offer is don’t worry about the wind holes right now. You’ll be pleasantly surprised when you discover what you need to.

Though it is somewhat tedious to remember to come back to areas because you’ll need to return when you have what the wind holes need, God of War Ragnarok does a good job of guiding you back through some of the major wind holes you see early in the game. The rest, you’ll need to reexplore to rediscover.

Don’t worry, once you obtain the thing you need to deal with these wind holes, you can fast travel back to those regions and access the areas that were previously off-limits to you. Be patient; it will be worth it.

God of War Ragnarok is available now on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
