While reviewing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, I found that my favorite part of the game was its Zombies in Spaceland map and mode. Four intrepid game reviewers went in, but none of them made it out. In our early runs of the game there was one thing that usually resulted in our death, the spawn of the giant alien, otherwise known as a brute. This usually happened near Scene 10, and while we could avoid it, killing it took some effort. So, here’s a quick guide on how to kill the giant alien brute in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Zombies in Spaceland.

Once you understand how the Brute functions, it’s not too hard to take down this giant zombie dressed as an alien. The key, as with most zombies, is to shoot him in the head. However, his head is currently covered by a giant alien mask. You need to get him to take this off, which he will do if you hit him enough in the helmet.

Do enough damage and he’ll start to take off the helmet. Stop shooting at this point, he is invincible while in this animation and you are just wasting precious ammo. Once he has the helmet off you can fire away, focusing once again on his head. If it takes too long, he’ll put the helmet back on and you’ll have to do it all over again, but repeat this process enough and you’ll take him down.

And that’s how to kill the giant alien brute in Zombies in Spaceland for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Simple advice, but still important. Just don’t keep running, face him head on and you should be fine. Take him out and later rounds will open up, along with Easter Eggs galore, check out this guide for what we know so far.
