Sure, Link likes to save the world and Princess Zelda from the clutches of evil, but he also just likes helping out those in need. This seems like a focus of most of his time in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Switch, where he and the player will wander around Koholint Island looking for those in need and helping them. This is also true of the characters who aren’t so alive, as is the case with the ghost you find after finishing Angler’s Tunnel. He needs to go home, but where is it? Here’s where to take the Ghost in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake for Nintendo Switch.
Where to Take the Ghost
As I said, you run into the Ghost after completing Angler’s Tunnel, the game’s fourth dungeon. If you need help getting there just check out this guide. It’s where you get the Flippers, so it’s a pretty critical dungeon in Link’s Awakening. Once you complete it the Ghost sort of just shows up without much warning. He doesn’t specifically tell you what to do after he appears, but it quickly becomes clear that he wants you to take him home. Where is his home?
Right in the middle of the coast, essentially. The Ghost’s House is along the bottom of the map, near the center. You can reach it via either direction, following the coast from the beach or traveling west from the warp pad in Martha’s Bay. Just stick to the bottom of the map and you’ll quickly come across the Ghost’s House which is exactly as spooky as you’d expect. Once inside you can smash some pots while the Ghost wanders around a bit. Afterward he’ll direct you to the cemetery, so you’ll want to head there next.
The cemetery is found to the left of the Witch’s House, where you got some Magic Powder. You can reach it however you feel is best, but you might want to take a warp pad to Ukuku Prairie then head north. Once at the Witch’s House just turn left and look for a set of stairs that’s blocked by a rock. You should know how to move rocks by now but check out that guide if you need help. Once you walk down this newly available path you’ll get the Ghost where he needs to be and will be rewarded with a Fairy Bottle.
And that’s where to take the Ghost in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake for Nintendo Switch.
