Since these Pokemon rotate out with every season, you’ll want to make sure that you’re getting out and about as often as possible to make sure that you’re catching, and hatching, as many of these Pokemon as possible. If one of your favorites is on this list, you may have to wait until another event in the future to get a chance to have one in your collection.

Special Research Tasks

You’ll want to also make sure that you’re completing as many Special Research Tasks as possible, or at least adding them onto your list while the Season of Alola is still going on. As long as you have the Special Research Task on your list, you’ll be able to take as much time as needed to complete them. However, if you miss out on adding these to your Special Research Task list, you won’t be able to get them, or their items and rewards, back. Keep an eye out in your game for these tasks:

  • A Melemele Adventure – March 1st
  • An Akala Adventure – March 22nd
  • An Ula’ula Adventure – April 12th
  • Poni Island Special Research – May 10th
  • End of Season Special Research – May 25th

Once they have been added to your game, you’ll be able to work towards completing them at your own pace and unlocking a lot of different Pokeballs, Stardust, XP, Pokemon, and more. You’ll also want to make sure that you’re taking advantage of all of the exclusive bonuses that are going on during the Season Of Alola, such as Increased Insense effectiveness, Increased Damage during Remote Raids, Gifts at Pokestops, Two free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, and 90 Minute Incense.

Lastly, partaking in upcoming Community Day Events can net you large amounts of Pokemon, exclusive items, and more. Making sure that you’re checking out those events, as well as the special Spotlight Hour events can help you gather lots of Pokemon that may need 400 Candies to evolve.

And those are the different things that you should be keeping an eye out for during these last few weeks of the Season of Alola! Pokemon GO is always adding new items, events, and Pokemon, so keep yourself posted on all of those new updates!
