Set Up a Generator Near the Holotable Inside Command Cavern Location: Fortnite Quest Guide

Recommended Videos

The Week 10 Resistance Quests are now live in Fortnite, and the final challenge of the week requires players to set up a generator near the holotable inside Command Cavern. This is the most involved quest that you’ll have to complete this week, and it actually takes a little bit of effort to reach the holotable and complete your objective. Thankfully, it’s not too hard to complete, and you can knock it out in just a few minutes if you know where to go.

This quest begins after establishing a device uplink near Command Cavern, as most Resistance Quests normally do. After you receive your orders, it’s time to head inside. Here’s where to find the holotable in Command Cavern so you can set up a generator in Fortnite.

Fortnite Holotable Location in Command Cavern

To begin the quest, head inside Command Cavern. The best place to enter is through the wind tunnel on the southeastern side of Command Cavern since that will lead you straight to your objective, but any entrance will work just fine. Essentially, you just need to make your way down the hallways to the east until you reach a door that requires two keycards to open.

There’s no getting that door to open, but thankfully, there’s another way in. Open the nearby vent on the wall to the right and crawl through the ventilation shaft until you reach the other side of the door. This will lead you to the room with the holotable, which is exactly where you need to be to complete your objective.

Your first move in the holotable room is setting up the generator, which can be accomplished by interacting with the white generator outline next to the wall behind the holotable. With the generator online, the holotable will whir to life.

Now, you need to insert the control keys into the holotable. Just input both keycards into the marked spots on the holotable and it should power up. All that’s left to do is activate the holotable and watch the magic unfold.

That’s all that there is to this quest, and it’s the last Resistance Quest available this week. That means you can move on to any other challenges you’ve been neglecting this season, including the Prowler quests or the Volcanic Assassin quests. Don’t forget that there’s a big live event coming up soon too, so mark your calendar.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
