V Rising Horse Guide: How to Get a Mount

Recommended Videos

V Rising is now in Early Access and players have been delving into the experience with extreme speed as they start surviving in the vampire-filled world. Of course, while you’re crafting a variety of items you will be wanting to get around the land quickly when gathering resources. Thankfully you will be able to get a horse to travel around with and this guide article will take you over everything you know about how to get a horse in V Rising.

How To Get A Horse In V Rising

In order to get a mount in V Rising, you will have to be prepared to go on a little bit of a hunt to find some of them. If an area has a horse in its vicinity it will be marked with an appropriate horseshoe icon to indicate just as much. ‘Dunley Farmlands’ will be a great bet for finding a horse. Travel to the areas marked with a horseshoe icon and have a look around for some horses, if you find any then you’re now prepared to move onto stage two of obtaining your very own horse to travel around with.

You will want to go up to the horse and then interact with it in order to mount it. After this has been completed, you now have your own horse and you can take it back to your base and you can bring it about with you whenever you want to. Take good care of them and they’ll be sure to take good care of you. Crafting waterskins for the horse will ensure that it stays fuelled up for the rides ahead and of course, you will be giving them something to drink for the journeys forthwith.

Furthermore, if you are also wanting to name your horse you will be happy to hear that you can indeed do that equally. Just like anything else, you will need to have resources as an important focus throughout the game.

V Rising is available now on Early Access for Steam.
