Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies is one of the three modes Activision has packed for players. The Zombies mode has been a community favorite and its addition to Vanguard will add to the overall fun and excitement of the game. In a franchise first crossover, Treyarch and Activision are bringing the Zombies as a side mode to the game. This year, Vanguard Zombies main quest will drive forward the Dark Aether storyline, which was first introduced in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Zombies. But when is the Vanguard Zombies Easter Egg main quest coming? This article will tell you all you need to know about the Vanguard Zombies main quest.
When is Vanguard Zombies Easter Egg main quest coming
Unfortunately, players who had been eagerly expecting to continue their journey with the Vanguard Zombies main questline will have to wait a little longer. As per a recent blog post by Treyarch, Der Anfang’s main quest, Easter egg, won’t be playable until after Vanguard Season 1 commences. The developers shed a bit of light on the main quest and said, “players will also encounter some other surprise elements later in Season One that will set the stage for our upcoming Main Quest. This Main Quest will be tied to the arrival of an unexpected ally after Season One, which will further expand the narrative of the Dark Aether, and reveal more details about the characters and entities that players will have encountered thus far.”
The statement by the developers clearly means that the Vanguard Zombies main questline will come somewhere around after Vanguard Season 1. Another interesting bit from the statement is the mention of an “unexpected ally.” There are numerous questions as to who this ally could be. Will we see the developers bring back a familiar face from Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Zombies to Vanguard? Or will it be someone completely new? All of these questions make the wait for the Zombies main quest even more intolerable. However, players will have loads of things to keep them busy.
Vanguard Zombies will pack in new objectives, Covenants, weapons, Zombies Season Challenges, holiday-themed updates, and more when the Zombie mode releases. Players will have the freedom to pick and choose between different combinations of Covenants, Artifacts, Perks, and weapons to create more powerful new builds. All of this content will surely keep players engaged until Vanguard Season 1 arrives.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
