Best Spartan Rage in God of War Ragnarok

The three Spartan Rage options in God of War Ragnarok are Fury, Valor, and Wrath. Fury is the one you start with since it is the standard Spartan Rage from God of War (2018). This Spartan Rage option allows you to deal melee combos to your enemies with each hit healing you slightly.

The Valor Spartan Rage is the second Spartan Rage you unlock. Valor exchanges a chunk of Spartan Rage for a chunk of health. If you activate it right before you get hit, you’ll heal even more and get a melee buff.

Wrath is the last Spartan Rage you unlock. Wrath consumes some of your Spartan Rage and makes you charge toward an enemy. You’ll deal massive damage and heal a little if you kill the enemy.

Now that you know what all of the Spartan Rage options are, the best one in our opinion is Wrath. With Wrath, you can quickly take down pesky enemies and deal a lot of damage to bosses and minibosses without wasting all of your Spartan Rage meter.

Especially if you have increased your max rage with Horns of Blood Mead, Wrath offers the most bang for your buck. In second place, we have Fury since it deals a lot of damage and heals you at the same time. If you’re fighting an especially hard boss and need some healing during the fight, we recommend Fury.

Valor is in last place. Although it is a great Spartan Rage, the other two are just more powerful. The best part about each Spartan Rage is that they are all great in different situations. If you like a particular Spartan Rage, stick with it or try experimenting with other ones.

God of War Ragnarok is available now on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
