For some strange reason, Amazon has decided to sell a Collector’s Edition for Battlefield 1 that comes with only the extras without the game itself.
As you can see via the link, this Collector’s Edition is exclusive to Amazon. The online retailer is the only one in the world to provide extra goods without the game it’s based on.
Here’s the official description: “The Battlefield 1 Amazon Exclusive Collector’s Edition includes Collector’s Edition Statue (14″ Tall), Exclusive Steel book, Exclusive cloth poster, Deck of playing cards, Messenger pigeon tube with exclusive DLC content, Exclusive patch, and Premium packaging. This bundle does not include the game“
This is usually very uncommon for retailers, but you do see this type of thing when looking for games online via sites like eBay. Gamers may just want to keep the game only so they sell the extra stuff if they get bored of the statues and art-books.
If you want this Collector’s Edition, it will only cost you $129.99. If you buy the standard game at any retailer for $59.99, then the whole package will set you back $189.99. The item in question will be released on October 18th, 2016 and there is free shipping in the USA.
