DICE Has something else brewing besides Battlefield 4, and the developer is expected to reveal at least one other new game at E3 2013.
During EA’s recent quarterly earnings call, Frank Gibeau revealed that the publisher has plenty to reveal at the expo in June.
We’re planning a full reveal at E3, including more next-generation titles
“Regarding next-generation consoles, we are under a nondisclosure agreement with our platform partners. However, we’re planning a full reveal at E3, including more next-generation titles in development… This will include breakthroughs in graphics and gameplay for some of our biggest franchises, including Battlefield, FIFA, Madden, NBA Live and Need for Speed. We plan to unveil new titles from EA Sports, BioWare, and DICE, and a first look at some brand new games.”
Whether or not these new titles will be on the show floor, or if we’ll just see reveals at the EA press conference is unclear. We very well may see our fair share of reveals at the next Xbox event on May 21. With Microsoft waiting until so close to the show to reveal their new hardware, it’s keeping much of the news leading up to the convention under wraps.
