The new Blackout Battle Royale mode for the upcoming Call of Duty game will not feature wall-running, thrust jumping, or any of the enhanced mobility features from some of the recent Call of Duty games.

According to Treyarch’s Matt Scronce, the movement systems in the Blackout mode will be the same as the ones that you find in Black Ops 4’s competitive multiplayer.

On Blackout, we’ll get into the specifics later, but it’s gonna be the same movement set that you get throughout the game.  So very fast, fluid, uh… no thrust jump, no wall-running.”

Right now, Blackout is the one thing that Call of Duty players want to hear about, but today’s Community Reveal did not offer many hints about the gameplay.
