Following the reveal of Black Ops IIII last month it seemed like a logical conclusion that Treyarch would reveal more about the mode at E3 2018.  Unfortunately this does not seem to be the case.  According to Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar, the developer is not talking about the mode during the convention.

In an interview that kicked off Rooster Teeth’s coverage of E3 2018, Vonderhaar expressed his excitement to reveal the mode, but gave little information about it and said that they are unsure when they will actually show it to fans.

The developer did reiterate what was said back at the Black Ops IIII reveal and that the Blackout map would feature parts and pieces of multiplayer maps.  Other than what Treyarch has already said about the mode, very little is known about it at this point.

When will we finally see a reveal of the new mode that’s got Call of Duty fans wondering?  According to Vonderhaar it doesn’t sound like there’s a specific date to look forward to.
