DOOM was announced back at QuakeCon and soon it seems we will get a full on trailer of glorious and explosive in-game footage.
While many saw Bethesda going to E3 as a confirmation of Fallout 4, DOOM might just be the game that gets gamers pumped when they take to the stage. To get the excitement and hype started the developers have just released an extremely short teaser trailer for their DOOM reveal planned for their E3 Showcase; which takes place on June 14th at 7 pm PT.
Confirmed to be releasing only on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, ID Software are going all out to deliver a game which is 1080p and 60fps on all platforms. This does mean that it is incredibly unlikely for the game to be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 without major downgrading.
Naturally old school weaponry will return, with the teaser showing off a classic in the form of a double-barrel shotgun. The developers have already announced the game will feature the fan favourite mechanics such as carrying every gun possible and no health regeneration. So expect old school fun to be back on the menu.
Alongside the short teaser trailer Bethesda commented “BOOM! Just a tiny snippet of what’s to come at Bethesda’s E3 Showcase!”
