A new playable character has been confirmed for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 today. Also revealed are some non-playable characters too.

SaiyanGamer uploaded a video from the latest issue of V-Jump magazine from Japan. The scan confirms that the Namekian Nail is playable in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Not only is he playable, but he also appears in the game’s story mode.

Dragon Ball Z fans may remember Nail in the Namek saga. The character eventually fused with Piccolo. Mecha Cooler is also playable in the game and appears in the story mode as well.

Not to mention the Super Saiyan Blue versions of Goku and Vegeta are returning. These versions of the characters were DLC in the first game, but are now part of the main lineup in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Bulma and Dende are in the game, but only as supportive non playable characters. Both characters have major roles in their respective sagas from the TV show and manga.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has a release date of October 25th, 2016. It will be available to buy on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Don’t worry if your favorite character is missing in the launch roster because Bandai Namco is promising to release a lot of DLC for the game.
