Techland has today announced the release of, in their words, “the largest and most intense Dying Light DLC to date”, The Bozak Horde.
The downloadable content, which is now available worldwide, adds into Dying Light a brand new game mode. Players will be able to enter the Harran Stadium and test both their combat and parkour skills in numerous trials. Online leaderboards will record player scores, so gamers can strive to be the very best in the world.
Techland are keen to point out that players can “go alone or join your friends and beat Bozak’s game with the highest score.” According to the devs the downloadable content will still be a test for multiple players, with up to four players able to enter the Harran Stadium together.
If players defeat the horde they will unlock what is described as “the ultimate stealth weapon”, a compound hunting bow. This can then be upgraded by completing additional objectives to include electric, incendiary or exploding arrows.
For those who do not know of Bozak, he is the man who is behind the horde challenges in the Harran Stadium. Throughout the DLC players will learn more about him during some brutal challenges. The Bozak Horde DLC is now available to download for free for Dying Light Season Pass Holders. It is also available separately for $9.99 USD / €9.99 EUR / £6.99 GBP.
