EA Sports Promises NBA Live 16 Will Have Improved Gameplay

by Damian Seeto

EA Sports has promised fans that there will be lots of improvements to the gameplay in NBA Live 16.

A fan asked the official Twitter page if there will be gameplay improvements in NBA 2K16. EA Sports answered and promised that “big improvements (are) on the way“.

We will have our first glimpse of NBA Live 16 at next month’s E3 event. EA Sports also noted on Twitter that they will be covering the event and will be tweeting about all of the updates. Hopefully actual gameplay footage is shared.

EA Sports has yet to find its footing with the NBA Live franchise after taking a small hiatus. The series took a four year break until the release of NBA Live 14. However, that game was critically panned with its outdated graphics and unrealistic gameplay.

EA Sports went back to the drawing board with NBA Live 15. They improved the graphics, however the game still feel short of the mark in the gameplay department. The developer is again trying its luck with NBA Live 16 this year.

Hopefully a third try is a charm. Although NBA Live 16 will still face stiff competition with 2K Sports’ NBA 2K16. Both games are due to be out later this year before the NBA season starts in late October.
