First Gameplay Trailer For WWE 2K17 Released

by Damian Seeto

The first gameplay trailer for WWE 2K17 has landed and it gives us a good look at some of the cool things that you can do in the new game. It also shows us a lot of the new additions to the roster.

IGN exclusively uploaded the new WWE 2K17 trailer and it’s quite good. They have brought back a few features that were missing from previous games.

As revealed a few weeks ago, backstage brawls are back and you can now fight in the crowd. This harks back to the days of “Here Comes The Pain” and the older Smackdown titles.

Furthermore, the trailer continues to tease a future showdown between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Their first match was quite disappointing, so it will be interesting to see if their rematch will be better.

WWE 2K17 also boasts the largest launch roster in franchise history. The trailer shows us wrestlers making their debuts in a WWE video game like AJ Styles, Alexa Bliss, Enzo, Cass, Bayley and much more.

It’s also worth mentioning the trailer can be viewed in 1080p and 60fps. WWE 2K16 was 1080p and 60fps so this should be the benchmark for WWE 2K17 on PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the trailer below.
