Fortnite Launching Today on Nintendo Switch

As had been rumored Fortnite is heading to the Nintendo Switch.  The surprise announcement was that the game is launching today.  According to Reggie Phils-Aime, the game will be available on the Nintendo eShop at 10AM PT.

Players can play Fortnite: Battle Royale on the Switch today, and it sounds like it’s going to be the full featured experience that is currently available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Throughout E3 2018, Epic is also hosting a Fortnite Battle Royale Pro-Am where streaming personalities and pro-gamers team up with celebrities.

A game that’s already been going strong in 2018, Epic Games will get access to a brand new pool of millions of potential players with the arrive of Fortnite: Battle Royale on the hybrid console.

Fortnite Battle Royale will be available as a free download when it becomes available later today on June 12th.
