Halo 5: Guardians Clans Will Be Managed Through Spartan Companies

343 Industries have revealed Spartan Companies for Halo 5, a feature that functions like a clan system for the game. Halo 5: Guardians players can either create or join a Spartan Company to form a group of like-minded Halo players and will be given tools to manage this group’s activities.

These Spartan Companies can hold up to 100 players and you can only be a member of a single group. The feature gives each Spartan Company a member forum where groups can be organized for what type of gamemode they want to participate in, the ability to set up match, scrimmages, practices, and Warzone sessions. The Spartan Company pages will also display the Service Record for each member of the crew, including detailed statistics like kill death ratio, or stats for specific game types like number of flags captured in Capture the Flag. You can view player loadouts, and cosmetic style of each Spartan in the group, or manage your own character’s appearance and loadout.

Upon creating a group that features four or more Spartans, members of the group will get free REQ pack, which includes things like cosmetic upgrades or random weapons. Since Halo 5 isn’t out quite yet, this new feature can be accessed directly on Halo Waypoint after October 25th, which allows you to customize you character and view your card collection ahead of launch.

Halo 5: Guardians arrives exclusively on Xbox One on October 27th.  You can check out our recent hands-on preview and gameplay from Halo 5: Guardians, and we’ll be live streaming multiplayer later this week on Attack of the Fanboy and on our YouTube Channel.
