Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is still a couple months away and while coming at the beginning of September, will basically kick off the Fall gaming season in high fashion. This week has been a bad one for PC gamers with the jokingly bad Batman: Arkham Knight, but Konami is looking to make the PC version of the latest Metal Gear Solid game the best option available.
When Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes launched last Spring, it was only for consoles at first with the PC version through Steam coming much later. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is taking a much different approach by having them come very close to one another, with only a two week gap between them.
The Community Manager for the game went to the Steam forums and asked for feedback on just what fans wanted to see in the PC version.
“Tell us please, so that we can convey it to the development team hard at work on the PC version, what FEATURES and OPTIONS you want for the PC version of MGSV:TPP. No guarrantees they’ll all make it in, but this game is made for you, the fans of Metal Gear, who want an amazing experience on your home computer–so help us get you there.”
Is is really great to see that they want to make sure that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for PC is a top priority and are asking for fan feedback to make it as good as it can possibly be.
Compared to Batman: Arkham Knight’s staff of 12 that made the terrible PC port, it sounds like they are really looking to make fans happy come September 1.
