The trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider has leaked a bit early on the Microsoft website.  The cinematic (non-gameplay) trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider was posted on the Microsoft site.  You can check it out here as it’s still up at the time of this posting.

The trailer showcases Lara’s new Mayan-themed adventure.  A lot of the footage here suggests that a large part of the combat and exploration of the game will take place in the jungles of these environments, while showcasing what should provide for some pretty cool moments in the game.

There’s just a couple hours to go until the preview embargo expires for Shadow of the Tomb Raider as a press event was held yesterday where media was allowed to come and play the game.  You can check back with Attack of the Fanboy on April 27th at 8:00AM CT for our hands-on preview of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, developer interview, and other new details about the game.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is set to arrive on September 14th on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.  While the last Tomb Raider game saw Microsoft with some exclusivity of the game, it has not been revealed that this will be the case with Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Update:  The trailer has been released and can now be viewed below:
