Mighty No. 9 was originally scheduled for a release this spring before being delayed to September, but to lessen the blow it was revealed that the game would be getting a physical release for a variety of different platforms as well. The game isn’t just getting a basic retail edition either, as Comcept has revealed the Mighty No. 9 Signature Edition.
Mighty No. 9 is the spiritual successor to the Mega Man franchise, coming from the mind of Keiji Inafune, who founded Comcept after leaving Capcom. This means many people are very excited to see a game in this style with the Mega Man franchise itself completely stagnant over the last few years.
As reported by Siliconera, those who are really looking forward to the game can get the Mighty No. 9 Signature Edition this September. This bundle will not only include the game itself, but also a special Beck figurine that will both come into a box autographed by Inafune.
The Beck figure will be a 6.5 inch individually numbered collectors item that there is no doubt many a gamer would love to have. This figurine is quite impressive, with 14 different articulation points and three interchangeable faceplates.
The Mighty No. 9 Signature Edition will cost you $59.99 and release alongside the regular game on September 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
