MINECON Earth, “a celebration of all things Minecraft,” will be taking place again this year. Details are still pretty scant, but here’s what we know so far.

MINECON Earth 2018 will be taking place on September 29, 2018. The event itself will be about ninety minutes long and will include a pre-show and a post-show. This year, fans will be able to submit ideas for panels at the event. Fans whose ideas for panels are selected will have their selves and their panel members flown to the event and have their panel broadcasted as part of MINECON Earth 2018. You can submit your idea for a panel by filling out this form.

There will also be something of a cosplay contest prior to the actual event. Those who create their own cosplays can enter a contest, for which the winner will be flown out for the event, be highlighted on the event’s livestream and win a prize of some sort. More details on how to enter this cosplay contest are to be revealed at a later date. For those who aren’t panelists or don’t win the cosplay contest, the entire event will be livestreamed on phones, tablets, computers and consoles via “a bunch of streaming sites.”
