Nindies@Home Brings Indie Demos to Your Wii U for Free

by Kyle Hanson

Nintendo has revealed a new program called Nindies@Home, which promises to bring you free indie demos for your Wii U. During the week of E3, which in case you haven’t been checking, is this week, players can download a number of demos for upcoming Wii U indie games, for free. You can head to the Nintendo eShop right now and grab the demos for these indie titles.

The nine games included in the Nindies@Home program are Extreme Exorcism from Ripstone, forma.8 from Mixed Bag, Freedom Planet from GalaxyTrail, Lovely Planet from tinybuild and QUICKTEQUILA, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge from Renegade Kid, RIVE from Two Tribes, Runbow from 13AM Games, Soul Axiom from Wales Interactive, Typoman from Headup Games and Brainseed Factory.

And, as a special bonus, those that download the demos will get a 15% discount on the games, once they get a full release on the Nintendo eShop. Hurry though, these games will only be available from 5 a.m. Pacific Time on June 15 and 8:59 a.m. Pacific Time on June 22, and the discount applies up to a month after release.
