Nintendo Announces Several Indie Switch Games in Nindies Showcase

Today (March 20), Nintendo held their latest Nindies Showcase, in which they announced a number of third party indie games that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch this year. Below is a list of all the games that were announced as part of the showcase, as well as information such as genres and Switch version release windows. All of the games announced will be released on the Switch, as the 3DS was not mentioned during the showcase.

  • Stealth platformer Mark of the Ninja Remastered will be available this fall.
  • Fighting game Fantasy Strike will be available this summer.
  • Musical bullet-hell game Just Shapes & Beats will be available this summer.
  • Top-down shooter Garage will be available this spring.
  • “The world’s least realistic pool simulator game,” Adult Swim Games’ Pool Panic will be available sometime this year.
  • Puzzle platformer Bomb Chicken will be available this summer.
  • Puzzle game Lumines Remastered will be available this spring.
  • Strategy game Reigns: Kings and Queens will be available this spring.
  • Platformer Lightfall will be available this spring.
  • Comedic RPG West of Loathing will be available this spring.
  • Co-op exploration puzzle game Pode will be available this spring.
  • Action platformer The Messenger will be available this summer.
  • Tactical roguelike Bad North will be available this summer.
  • Tactical RPG The Banner Saga 3 will be available this summer, with The Banner Saga and The Banner Saga 2 “coming soon.”
