Rainbow Six Siege launched nearly a year ago with a relatively quiet release that was not talked about as much as other shooters like Call of Duty: Black Ops III. However, the game has really gotten better and better in the time since and will continue to be supported for another full year.

As announced in a tweet from the official Rainbow Six Twitter, Rainbow Six Siege is looking to get even more content this next year.

“The past year has been an incredible journey, and we are excited to have you join us for another full year of content!”

Rainbow Six Siege already has their four DLC pack set to launch later this week, so it’s great to get confirmation of even more coming in the future. Hopefully the second batch of content will be just as well received as the first to keep the game going for the next few years.

This has definitely be a game that has done well based on new updates and fantastic word of mouth. Perhaps what helped it more than anything was its free weekend it had awhile back that gave a whole new pool of people a chance to play the game.
