November has been a big month for amiibo already between the release of new Smash Bros. amiibo like Mewtwo and the Mii Fighters, as well as the Animal Crossing line and a restock. We already knew we had a few more coming with Mega Yarn Yoshi and Falco over the next week, but there is going to be one more in November that it doesn’t sound like will be easy to get.

Back alongside the release of Super Mario Maker in September came the 8-bit Classic Colors Mario amiibo. However, there was also another variation of this known as the Modern Colors Mario amiibo, which was exclusive to a Wii U console at Walmart only.

This basically meant that you had to buy a Wii U if you wanted one without having to import, which honestly hasn’t been all that expensive to do. For those that have been waiting though, it is finally getting a solo release.

As seen in the Walmart Black Friday ad, The Modern Colors 8-bit Mario amiibo will be remaining a Walmart exclusive, with it releasing individually for Black Friday, with their deals starting for this at 6 pm on Thursday, November 26.

Hopefully this is a case where Walmart will put it up online before or something, because all Walmart stores will be a madhouse at that time. If not, at least we can hope stock is solid like other recent restocks, to where real collectors have a chance to get one.
