Star Fox is one of Nintendo’s most classic franchises, but has been left out of the fun for awhile now, outside of a remake on the 3DS. Last year showed us that the series was returning on Wii U with Shigeru Miyamoto working directly on the game. Today’s Nintendo Direct has finally given us the grand reveal with Star Fox Zero.
This game looks absolutely beautiful and truly uses the second screen experience of the Wii U to near perfection. YOu can do the usual third person shooting style, or actually go first-person with the GamePad’s screen.
Everyone is back this time in Star Fox Zero with Fox, Falco, Peppy, and Slippy in their planes, with I’m sure Slippy always needing your help again. It looks like this crew never left us with as true to the series as this game looks.
The trailer for Star Fox Zero ended with a release window of Holiday 2015, so this should definitely be the major release for Wii U this Holiday Season.
Make sure to stay tuned all day and for the rest of the week to Attack of the Fanboy for the best coverage on not only this, but plenty more. For all of the info you may have missed over the last two days, make sure to check out our past news and articles.
