Street Fighter 5 Panel Announced For Comic Con 2015

Capcom has announced there will be a Street Fighter 5 discussion panel that will be held during this week’s Comic Con event.

Street Fighter 5 producer, Yoshinori Ono, tweeted out today:

“We’ll have Street Fighter V Panel Session in 11:45am 9th July at #SDCC2015 room6BCF. I look forward to visit you there “

More details were announced via a press release. The panel will last for one hour and goes from 11:45am until 12:45pm. Aside from Ono, several other Capcom people will be at the panel.

As expected, the panel will be revealing the latest news about Street Fighter 5. The press release teased that there might be “exclusives, surprises, and hijinks” at the panel.

It’s expected we may get an announcement for a new character in the game. At E3 2015, it was revealed that Cammy and Birdie will be in the roster. They join Ryu, Chun-Li, M. Bison and Charlie.

It will be interesting to see what other characters will be revealed in the game. We have yet to see an all-new character revealed. All the characters announced so far have been in previous Street Fighter games.

Street Fighter 5 will be released for the PC and PS4 platforms in early 2016.
