Titanfall developer making Star Wars game called “Jedi Fallen Order”

Today at EA Play’s Press Conference Vince Zampella of Respawn Entertainment revealed the name and setting for their upcoming Star Wars game.  While it was known that Respawn was working on Star Wars game, today’s reveal from Zampella outs the name of the game, which they are calling Jedi Fallen Order.

Zampella says that players will play as a Jedi in the game and it’s set during a dark time in the universe where Jedi are being hunted.  The game will be set between Star Wars Episodes 3 and 4.  Zampella also revealed that Jedi Fallen Order will not be arriving in 2018, but 2019 instead.

Zampella says to expect the game in Holiday of 2019 and that fans will be hearing a lot more about the game in the months to come.  Details about the gameplay other than Zampella teasing that players will be wielding lightsabers in the game were not revealed at the press conference.

Look for Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order next year.
