A new batch of Assassin’s Creed III artwork has arrived that shows off the game in its conceptual form. Prior to converting these into the living breathing end-product that gamers experience in the final release, these concept art peices give the development team a direction to take when making their game.

This artwork shows off some of the scenery that has been seen in previous Assassin’s Creed gameplay videos, and in some cases the development team didn’t stray far from the concepts at all. Earlier this week, the lead writer for Assassin’s Creed III explained how this game will differ from previous Assassin’s Creed releases, and how the team is looking to tie up some loose ends for the franchise’s main character.

Assassin’s Creed III is scheduled for release on October 30th on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Assassin’s Creed III will also be available as a day one digital product on the PlayStation Network, as well as getting its own limited edition bundle with the PlayStation “Super Slim” which arrived this week.
