Call of Duty: Ghosts next DLC is Invasion, features Awakening in Extinction

The next downloadable content for Call of Duty: Ghosts has accidentally spilled onto the internet today. The third DLC is titled Invasion, and the leak saw three of the game’s multiplayer maps revealed in images.

A fourth map is expected to be revealed when Infinity Ward officially reveals the content, which should be soon when looking back at the timelines they’ve previously adhered to.

The achievements for the Invasion DLC have also been discovered, and have revealed the third episode for Extinction Mode. In numerous spots on the achivements, the episode is called “Awakening”. No images of the new map for the cooperative mode were leaked.

It’s unclear whether Infinity Ward will introduce another new weapon into Call of Duty: Ghosts with this next DLC, or whether this bout of content will feature any hidden Easter Eggs like those found in the previous two.
