Season Of The Haunted

Destiny 2: Is the Season of the Haunted Season Pass Worth It?

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2 players are about to have another reason to jump back into the game. After the release of the stellar Witch Queen expansion earlier this year, players were granted one of the best story-based expansions to grace a game, and with the new Season of the Haunted, players can find even more to look forward to.

Players that are taking part in this event will have the opportunity to get their hands on the Season Pass, granting them some exclusive perks over those that do not happen to have this, so let’s take a look into what the season pass has to offer for hardcore Destiny 2 players.

Season Of The Haunted Season Pass Contents

All players, regardless if they have paid for the Season Pass or not, will be able to earn different rewards through the event. The Season of the Haunted starts on May 24th, 2022, and runs until August 23rd, 2022. You’ll be able to grind for quite a few months, and with all of the new rewards being added, you’ll need to make sure you’re ready to go.

Free For Everyone

If you decide not to purchase the Season Pass, you’ll still be able to participate in just about everything the new season has to offer.

  • Solstice Event
  • Solar 3.0 Subclass Update
  • Seasonal Artifacts and Mods
  • Nightmare Containment
  • Selected Challenges
  • Selected Gear and Armor
  • Free Rewards in Season Pass

So, if you’re a casual Destiny 2 fan, you’ll still find plenty of things to take part in. However, if you’re more hardcore than most, and want to get in on all of the action, you’ll be able to purchase the Season Pass for 1000 Silver, or roughly $9.99.

Season Pass Exclusive

If you decide to go ahead and purchase the season pass, you’ll be able to partake in all of the events listed above, with a few extra perks to sweeten the deal.

  • Instantly Unlocked Exotic Weapon
  • Seasonal Story Missions
  • Seasonal Reward Tracking
  • Full Access to Seasonal Gear and Armor
  • All Rewards
  • All Seasonal Challenges

If you’re a fan of the spooky vibe that Bungie is targeting with this new season, it’s almost a no-brainer that you’ll need to get your hands on the Season Pass. With the wealth of extra content, new armor and gear, along with new story missions, the 1000 Silver is a low price to enter, so we recommend getting your hands on this as soon as possible, and start grinding away.

If you’re looking to get your hands on some other great Destiny 2 weapons, we’ve got you covered. If you’re looking for more details as to what to expect in the newest Season of Destiny 2, or what is going on during downtime, we’ve always got your back.
