EA officially revealed today, on EA Sports FIFA’s official Twitter profile, a list featuring the 22 highest-rated players in the upcoming FIFA 22. According to the post, Lionel Messi will be the game’s top player, with a rating of 93, he is then followed by Robert Lewandowski with a 92.
Five different players, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar Jr., and Jan Oblak, tie in the third position with a rating of 91. FIFA 22 is shaping up to be a step forward for the franchise, which looked to be stagnating in the last few years. The game will feature new technologies and mechanics, updated graphics, and the debut of the new Hypermotion technology which will allow players to move as a complete unit on the pitch as well as increase the realism present in the matches, no matter the game mode its players choose to play. The title will also feature updated ball physics as well as an updated career mode, set to really put players in the shoes of not only a new player but also on those of a star manager. The game is set to be released on October 1, 2021, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Google Stadia, and PCs, on Steam and Origin. The game will also feature not only the new features and mechanics talked about above, but also the debut of a new series of VOLTA exclusive multiplayer mini-games and more.
