Fortnite’s 18.20 update was a significant update amid the ongoing yearly Fortnitemares. The update arrived with numerous new cosmetics, items, and NPCs like Ragsy and Dire. Ragsy is somewhere in the Risky Reels area of Fortnite island, and you can finish her punchcard quests to get additional XPs. Among her multiple punchcard quests, one is to – consume both a Small Shield Potion and a Shield Fish. Where to Find Shield Fish in Fortnite Season 8
If you have already started with Ragsy’s punchcard quest, finding and gulping the Small Shield Potion will be a breeze. Her first quest requires players to acquire a Shield from a Vending Machine. So the first part of the quest can quickly be completed by consuming this Small Shield Potion. Now for the Shield Fish, players will have to do some exercise or more precisely fishing.
In Fortnite Season 8, players can find Shield Fish by fishing anywhere on the map. There are four varieties of Shield Fish, each differing in color just a tad bit and are scattered across the map. There’s even a Pink Shield Fish but that is not part of this quest. Players will find the two varieties of Shield Fish almost anywhere, while the remaining two spawn in forest and coastal areas.
Catching the Shield Fish is similar to how you go fishing in real life. You will require a Fishing Rod or Harpoon Gun and need to visit a pond or a water body. A fishing Rod or Harpoon Gun can be obtained at Craggy Cliffs by visiting a fishing shop opposite the large central building.
Once you are fitted with all the pre-requisites, check for the fishing holes that are distinguished by bubbles on the surface, and start fishing. Completing this quest will grant players 30,000 XP, and here are all of Ragsy’s other quests that can be performed:
- Purchase a Shield from a Vending Machine.
