The second leg of Fortnitemares 2021 has started in Fortnite Season 8 and Epic has brought back a familiar face, but this time in a completely new avatar. For the third week of this year’s Fortnitemares, Ariana Grande has returned to the island, this time as an NPC.
Following the trend, the singer has her own set of challenges that you can perform in exchange for XPs in Fortnite Season 8. Ariana returning to Fortnite Island as an NPC is definitely surprising, but Epic being Epic has pulled it off nicely. Among her several challenges, one asks you to study the Caretaker’s Footprints in Fortnite Season 8. Here is how you can complete the challenge and get on with her other quests.
How to study the Caretaker’s Footprints in Fortnite Season 8?
Before you can start with Ariana Grande’s questline, you need to find her. She is lurking around the pier at Believer Beach and you can chat and watch the sunset with her. Once done, she will offer you the first challenge, which, when completed, initiates the rest of her Fortnite challenges.
The second challenge is to study the Caretaker’s footprints. Now to complete study the Caretaker’s footprint challenge, you have to look at two distinct footprints and there are multiple places you can go to finish this quest. There are ten different locations where you can find and Study the Caretaker’s footprint in Fortnite Season 8.

However, if you are looking to quickly complete the study the Caretaker’s footprint quest, then head to either Lazy Lake or Catty Corner on the Fortnite map. You will find the Caretaker’s footprint northeast of Lazy Lake, while if you visit Catty Corner from the south, the footprints can be found by the metal container.
After finding the Caretaker’s footprint, studying them is the easy part. Simply stare at the Caretaker’s footprint and use the interact button to study the Caretaker’s footprint. This will complete the quest and will reward you with a decent 30000 XP in Fortnite Season 8.
