How to Unlock the H4 Blixen SMG in Warzone & Vanguard

Recommended Videos

The H4 Blixen SMG is being added to Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard with the release of the Season 3 Reloaded update, and players can unlock this new weapon by completing a simple challenge in either game. Just like previous Call of Duty updates, this mid-season refresh adds a new map to Vanguard, new features to Warzone, and much more in addition to this new weapon.

Once Season 3 Reloaded goes live on May 24 in Vanguard and May 25 in Warzone, you’ll be able to add this weapon to your arsenal. Here’s how to unlock the H4 Blixen in Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard.

How to Unlock the H4 Blixen in Warzone and Vanguard

Like other weapons, the H4 Blixen SMG is unlocked by completing a challenge. To get it, you need to get 3 slide kills in a single match 15 times. This will unlock the weapon for use in both Warzone and Vanguard. This challenge is obviously best done in Vanguard multiplayer matches, but it is manageable in Warzone matches if you use the right loadout and visit the right locations.

Once you’ve racked up 3 slide kills in 15 different matches, the H4 Blixen will be yours. Like most other challenges, your progress will likely be saved if you leave a match after getting 3 slide kills, but if you find that the challenge progress isn’t being tracked, make sure to stay in the matches until they’re over just in case.

You can also obtain the H4 Blixen SMG by purchasing a store bundle that includes it. That store bundle won’t be available until later in the season, however, since the Spilled Ink bundle and the new Mastercraft bundles will be the highlight of the in-game store once the update drops.

H4 Blixen Stats

The H4 Blixen SMG is a slow-firing weapon similar to the Owen Gun, offering mobility and accuracy for medium-range engagements. It has a slower rate of fire than the Owen Gun, which already has a slow fire rate on its own, but it has a much longer effective range and better recoil control. It’s also a bit easier to handle with a slightly faster ADS time and reload speed.

It could be a powerful weapon in both Warzone matches and standard Vanguard multiplayer, although players may prefer to stick to faster-firing submachine guns at the end of the day. In Vanguard multiplayer, the H4 Blixen offers a reliable three-shot kill at surprisingly long ranges, so it’s easily the best SMG for long-range firefights.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
