Part 2 of Pokémon GO‘s Halloween 2021 event, Halloween Mischief, begins on 22nd October 2021 at 10 am, local time and lasts until the end of the event on 31st October 2021 at 8:00 pm, local time. ‘Ghoulish Pals’ is the name of the second part and focuses on the Ghost-type Pokémon and the introduction of Phantump and Pumpkaboo into Pokémon GO.

Pokémon GO Halloween Mischief Part 2 Spawns

Halloween Mischief Piplup and Pikachu are staying from part 1, along with all of the Ghost-types, but the rest of the spawns have been shaken up. Phantump and Pumpkaboo are making their debut for the first time in Pokémon GO. A full list of spawns can be found below.

Pokémon GO Halloween Mischief Part 2 Bonuses

The bonuses stay the same as part 1 of the event; 2x Hatch Candy, 2x Catch Candy, 2x Transfer Candy and Guaranteed Candy XL when walking with your buddy. Halloween stickers, clothing items and Spooky Bundles are also still available. Pokémon GO Halloween Mischief Part 2 Raids

Mega Absol is making its debut in Pokémon GO, replacing Mega Gengar as the Pokémon available in Mega Raids during part 2. Darkrai will be replacing Giratina in 5-star Raids and will have its shiny form available. 3-star raids will still feature Halloween Mischief Drifblim, but have been shaken up to feature more Ghost-type Pokémon.

It’s important to note that Halloween Mischief Drifblim is no longer available in Field Research Tasks, so this will be your only chance to get one if you haven’t already. Lastly, new Pokémon Phantump and Pumpkaboo have been added to 1-star Raids, along with Yamask and Galarian Yamask and Murkrow. A full list of what’s available during raids can be found below:

Pumpkaboo Collection Challenge

A Collection Challenge featuring all the size differences of Pumpkaboo is available. Pumpkaboo is the first Pokémon in Pokémon GO to have a size mechanic; Pumpkaboo can be one of four sizes ranging from Small Size to Super Size, which actually reflects how large it looks in-game, as well as the size of its evolution, Gourgeist. All sizes are listed below:

Pokémon GO Halloween Part 2 Field Research Tasks

Other than catching 5 Ghost-type Pokémon, Field Research Tasks are now completely different. Most notably, Halloween Mischief Drifblim has been removed, meaning the only way to obtain one is via raids. The full list of Field Research Tasks can be found below:

Pokémon GO Halloween Mischief Special Raid Weekend

To celebrate the introduction of Mega Absol, a ‘Special Raid Weekend’ will take place on October 30th, 2021, at 10:00 am to October 31st, 2021, at 8:00 pm local time. Mega Absol and Darkrai will be appearing much more frequently during raids during these two days.

Misunderstood Mischief – Step 11

Part 2 of the event also brings a new part to the ongoing ‘Misunderstood Mischief’ Special Research. As always, this can be completed after the event ends but is easier to complete while it is active. A full list of tasks and rewards can be found below:

  • Earn 3 Candies walking with your buddy – 10x Yamask Candy
  • Catch 30 Ghost-type Pokémon – 10x Phantump Candy
  • Catch 30 Dark-type Pokémon – 10x Pumpkaboo Candy

Rewards: Mimikyu Costume Pikachu*, 15x Ultra Balls and 40x Mega Gengar energy.
