[Update] Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta Now Available on Xbox One (PlayStation 4 Live Also)

by William Schwartz

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta is now available on Xbox One.   If you preordered the game digitally, you can download the beta by searching on for it on the Microsoft Store.  This is the second weekend of beta testing for Infinity Ward’s upcoming shooter, the first was exclusive to PlayStation 4.

The Infinite Warfare beta will be available on Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 for this second test.  For Xbox One players, a preorder is required to play the beta.  For PlayStation 4 owners, no code is required for this second beta weekend.

Infinity Ward’s beta testing for the multiplayer aspects of Infinite Warfare looks like it was necessary.  Long waiting times for matches and the inability to play the game plagued the initial hours of the release.  The developers claim that this second beta will help them “make our day one experience on November 4 the best it can be in the final game.”

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is set to release next month on November 4th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

[Update]  The Infinite Warfare Multiplayer Beta is also now available on the PlayStation 4 and can be downloaded on the PlayStation Store.
