Take Two Interactive, parent company of 2K Games and Rockstar Games had an earnings call earlier today to report their earnings as well as talk a bit about their fiscal 2016 outlook which mentioned a title which is expected to be announced soon.

The Take Two financial report which went live earlier today, it reported on great numbers for them as a net revenue of $1.669 Billion. Take Two has also announced they have increased the share repurchase authorization to ten million shares. The report goes on to also give a release date for future titles like WWE 2K 16.

The most interseting piece of the news though comes from an excerpt of the report that states a ‘soon to be announced’ triple A title from 2K Games.

“Throughout the coming year, we will continue to execute our proven strategy of launching a select array of the highest-quality titles, led by new annual releases of NBA 2K and WWE 2K; Battleborn, a groundbreaking new intellectual property from Gearbox Software; and a soon-to-be announced new triple-A title from 2K.”

Now this might mean we could hear about the game at E3 2015 in just a few weeks. The question is what could it be? Borderlands 3 or is Gearbox too deep in Battleborn development? It could even be a new Spec Ops game, but my money is on a Mafia 3 game from Hangar 13.  Heck, the voice actor who played Vito Scaletta in Mafia 2 even hinted at it. Guess we will find out in a few weeks.
