The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III for PS4 leads this week’s Japanese sales charts according to Media Create. The new chapter in the franchise debuts with the regular numbers the PS3 entries use to do in the past. However, it seems like the fanbase that used to play the game on PS Vita have not transitioned to the home console yet, with an important volume of sales being lost unless the game manages to continue selling in the long term.

Electronic Arts’ FIFA 18 has a good debut on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, with the portable version performing better than in the United Kingdom comparatively. Still, the Western franchise still does slightly lower numbers than Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer, which took the top position two weeks ago. Koei Tecmo’s Fire Emblem Warriors has a decent debut, but lower than other musous like Hyrule Warriors.

Other new entries of the week include Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition or Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain for PS4, but they enter in the lower positions of the top 20. That is still a better result than Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite and Knack 2, though, since those titles don’t even appear on the list.

On the hardware chart, Nintendo Switch sees an important surge in sales thanks to a higher volume of shipments, which in turn helped increasing the sales of Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
