Mega Charizard Y will be available to fight in Mega Raids from March 1 to March 8, 2023, giving you just a week to obtain enough Mega Energy to Mega Evolve. Mega Charizard X is currently unavailable to battle in raids but shares the same Mega Energy with Mega Charizard Y.

Mega Charizard Y is a Fire- and Flying-type Pokemon, making it weak to Rock-, Water-, and Electric-Pokemon. Rock-type moves are especially effective against Mega Charizard Y, dealing 256% damage.
