There’s a lot to do, see, and collect in Sonic Frontiers and you’re going to be busy running from point A to point B. At some point, your journey might be derailed after finding some very useful things. Of those is the Lost Koco. These little things are going to be very vital to leveling up in the game, so here’s how to farm these Lost Koco in Sonic Frontiers.
How to Farm for Lost Koco in Sonic Frontiers
Lost Koco are those small rock creatures that you’ll see around the Starfall Islands. They’re collected like every other collectible in the game, but provide a lot of utility for when you want to increase your ring capacity or speed. Bring them back to the Elder Koco and he can grant you that.
Lost Koco are found quite normally in ruin-like areas like Zone portals. They also tend to be in more secluded areas like forests and shrubbery. While not appearing as prominently as things like Rings, you have to hear them. If you’re playing the game with a good pair of earphones/headphones, you’ll be able to hear them.
They make little noises akin to Chao. Usually, if you hear one, there are multiple nearby. There isn’t anything special you have to do other than just run into them. You’ll hear a noise as you collect them.
The other way to get Lost Koco is to fish with Big the Cat. For this, you’ll have to find yourself a lot of Purple Coins scattered across the islands. These are what you’ll need to pay him to go fishing. With every successful catch, you earn specific tokens that you can then spend and buy things like Lost Koco.
His shop rates are extremely generous, allowing you to trade 3 tokens for 20 Lost Koco. you will eventually buy out his inventory for that, but that will give you such a great boost for leveling up every other upgradable stat in the game.
With all the quick farming you can do for those, you can also transfer some points between those two with the Hermit Koco if you wish. Other than that, you can level each stat as you wish until you reach the eventual cap of 99.
Sonic Frontiers is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
