Launch Signal Flares Quest Explained in Fortnite Season 8
In order to successfully perform the launch signal flares quest in Fortnite Season 8, you need to set fire to some large rockets and launch them into the air. This step has to be repeated three times to get through the quest. There are five locations scattered throughout Fortnite island that you can visit and launch these so-called signal flares. Here are all the locations in Fortnite Season 8:
- Catty Corner – You can find the signal flare behind Catty Corner at the Weather Station on the icy mountain.
- Lazy Lake – If you visit the northwest of Lazy Lake, a signal flare will be present at the center of a campsite.
- Believer Beach – The alien crash site south of Believer Beach has a signal flare as well.
- South West of Dirty Docks – On the mountain where the Alien Mothership crash site is.
- Craggy Cliffs – The signal flare can be found inside the fenced plot facing the road.
These are all the locations where you will find the signal flares. Once you reach the place, simply interact with the flare, which will launch it skywards. Repeat the process at three different locations to complete the quest. While the quest is relatively easy, it can take you 2 or 3 games as the signal flares are located far away from each other. So it is better that you take your time and don’t rush to complete the quest in one go. Once you do complete the quest, you will be rewarded with 30000 XP in Fortnite Season 8.
