The Best Vanguard H4 Blixen Loadout: Attachments, Perks, & Class Setup

Recommended Videos

Looking for the best H4 Blixen loadout in Vanguard? The Season 3 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Vanguard has arrived, adding the all-new H4 Blixen SMG to the game. While the mid-season update for Vanguard Season 3 added a ton of new features like the Sphere map, new Operators, and multiple balance adjustments, the addition of the H4 Blixen is the highlight of the patch.

This weapon is a powerful and versatile SMG that excels at medium range due to its longer than average effective range for a submachine gun. With the right attachments, you can maximize the weapon’s potential and allow it to compete with top-tier submachine guns at close range while still maintaining its long-range dominance.

Best H4 Blixen Attachments in Vanguard

These are the best attachments to equip with the H4 Blixen in Call of Duty: Vanguard.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Jonsson 9″ RMK
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Karlsson Padded Coz
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 9mm 72 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Fleet
  • Kit: Quick

The first two attachments for the best Vanguard H4 Blixen loadout are the Recoil Booster muzzle and Jonsson 9″ RMK barrel. Both of these increase the weapon’s fire rate, allowing you to shred enemies from any distance.

Up next we have the Karlsson Paddez Coz stock and the M1941 Hand Stop underbarrel, both of which increase the SMG’s accuracy and make it more stable. As always, your chosen sight comes down to personal preference, but this build opts for the popular Slate Reflector optic.

This loadout employs a combination of the 9mm 72 Round Mags and Lengthened ammunition. The magazine choice ensures you won’t run out of bullets during a firefight, and the Lengthened ammo type increases the weapon’s bullet velocity and allows it to maintain its efficiency at longer ranges.

The final three attachments are the Fabric Grip, Fleet Proficiency, and Quick Kit. The Fabric Grip does wonders for the H4 Blixen’s ADS speed and mobility, while Fleet and Quick will increase your speed and help you get the jump on enemies.

Best Perks & Equipment for H4 Blixen

The H4 Blixen works best with perks and equipment that are typical for basically every Vanguard SMG loadout.

  • Perk 1: Fortified
  • Perk 2: Forward Intel
  • Perk 3: Lightweight
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical: Stun Grenade

All three Perks are designed to help you when you’re up close and personal with the enemy team. Fortified protects you from fire and explosive damage, which is crucial on small maps. Forward Intel tells you where enemies are spawning so you know where to push, and Lightweight is a solid choice that lets you move faster.

Since you’re going to be in close-range encounters, a Throwing Knife can save you if you run out of ammo or just panic when you see an enemy. Finally, a Stun Grenade will help you clear rooms and get a huge advantage over anyone affected by it.

How to Get the H4 Blixen SMG

To get the H4 Blixen SMG, you have to complete a simple unlock challenge. Getting the gun requires you to get 3 slide kills in a single match 15 times. You have to finish the match in order for your slide kills to count, so it’s unfortunately going to take at least 15 games to get it. Playing in a playlist with small maps such as Shipment should make this challenge a breeze at least.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
